Tea (Green, Black, White and Oolong) is made from Camellia Sinensis leaves. Herbal teas, also known as tisanes and infusions, are caffeine-free and are not made using any leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant. Herbal blends are made using spices, flowers and leaves of a variety of other plants including fruits and herbs.

They offer refreshment as well as additional health benefits, and are packed with antioxidants and other functional ingredients that stimulate, relax or purify. Our tea and herbal blends are formulated to leverage the functionality of the ingredients to provide specific wellness benefits.

Our Energy Boost blend contains caffeine, since it contains Green Tea as a base. Our herbal blends, Rest & Relaxation and Defense, are caffeine-free.

Our teas are formulated for daily-moderate enjoyment as a healthy choice for most people. We recommend not to exceed 3–4 cups (710–950 ml) per day. If you experience some negative side effects, discontinue immediately.

a. Choose Your Tea Tools: You can use a tea infuser set, such as our stainless steel and extra fine mesh tea infuser baskets, or use a reusable or disposable cotton tea bag. You can also use a French press or any other tea infuser tool to brew and strain loose leaf herbal tea. Otherwise, you can pour boiling water directly into a jar or cup with the loose leaves, steep, and strain the infusion with a regular strainer or cocktail strainer when serving.

b. Measure: Use about 1 teaspoon (about 2.5g) of tea leaves per cup of water (8 Fl. Oz.)

c. Boil and Pour: Always use boiling hot water to prepare our herbal blends Defense and Rest and Relaxation. For our Energy Boost blend, water temperature should be about 90°C (194°F). Heat the water to the desired temperature and pour the water over the tea.

d. Steep: The recommended steeping times per blend are as follows:

ENERGY BOOST: Our “Energy Boost” is made of Chinese Sencha green tea as a base, which is combined with other herbal ingredients that spread evenly in the blend. The temperature of the water for flavored green tea should be about 90°C (194°F) and the brewing time should not exceed two to three minutes. Like all green teas, the leaves can be brewed several times–to your personal liking.

DEFENSE: for our Defense herbal blend, always use boiling hot water to prepare it and let it brew for at least 5 to 8 minutes!

REST & RELAXATION: for our Rest & Relaxation herbal blend, always use boiling hot water to prepare it and let it brew for at least 5 to 8 minutes!

f. When making Iced tea: start by making a stronger infusion. If sweetening your infusion, add and stir the preferred sweetener while it is hot. Let it cool, and then add ice cubes and ice water to your liking.
