Bioindividuality

Bioindividuality

Bioindividuality is the concept that no diet or lifestyle works for everyone (IIN, 2012-2017). Although the human species has similar anatomical and physiological needs, when it comes to nutritional and lifestyle needs, there is no one single formula for everyone. Factors like age, sex, genetics, geographic region, occupation, body type, culture, religion, and even your blood type can influence what works best for you. For example, some people may feel better about eliminating animal foods from their diet entirely, while others may thrive on eating them. On the other hand, your body can feel good with low-impact workouts like going for a walk, while others can be energized with high-intensity workouts. Everything in nature is a cycle, so even in yourself you will see that your needs change over time. The way you eat and exercise now probably won’t work as you and your life evolve. Even waiting to wake up feeling the same way you felt yesterday is against your very nature. Get to know yourself deeply, tune in and fall in love with who you really are. When you begin to listen carefully to the signals your body is sending you, you can tune into your body’s unique needs and determine the best decisions you can make for your well-being.
